yes, once or twice.
this is about fourth and last book from series. tho i understand it is more to fans bugging him to write it and he wrote just fanfic, than to tell any other story anymore...

Nice! I've really only ever seen the film unfortunately. I know the last act is essentially the ending of the novel but told exclusively through ambient visuals and eerie sound, whereas the novel actually describes what David goes through. Would you recommend the novels for someone who loved the film?

to the third novel, they are all OKay-ish, they all go on about Odysseys to different places. halley comet, moons of jupiter, enceladus, to visit Old HAL... *plus for still going, *minus for some characters talking as self-inserts XD (clarke would be great redditor - see deist-theist arguments on link, above)

want to visualize and compare .beat-time, to normal, "60-angular" time
idea came from measuring tape / log-ruler, which by-rule, shows two units to comparison (like cm -vs- inch, sin cos tan -pi -vs- decimal, -vs- logarithmic, ...)
