waffle? i tried to come up with dials for analog beat clock from first principles.
is this math wrong? or did i missed out something?
86 400 seconds / 24h = 1000*100 beats (?) -
- tho, if it was NOT for "centibeats"... maybe the mistake is there, the assumption of cb being there -

60*1,44(1440/1000)*1000(???) = 86 400s; 86 400 ÷ (1.44×1000) = 60
