Hey everyone, how's it going?
  • Where did you get your username/profile picture?
    • My username is essentially the same as on Agora Road. I was really interested in Soren Kierkegaard's Fear and Trembling when I was younger and despite never reading Either Or I liked the name a lot, so my name is essentially a play on that. My profile picture is Lupin the third from the anime film Lupin the Third: Jigen's Gravestone, a film I have a sort of sentimental attachment to.
  • How'd you find this place?
    • Agora Road.
  • What's your favorite aesthetic?
    • I'm not entirely certain, frankly. Probably whatever term would be associated with 1960s-1970s cinematic New Hollywood. I like a lot of foreign arthouse films aesthetically, but I like vaporwave related stuff as well.
  • What do you do for fun?
    • I enjoy reading classic literature and studying philosophy psychology, and theology, specifically Christian philosophy. I also really enjoy watching older foreign films and the traditional stuff like anime and vidya. Really I'm interested in learning about all kinds of differing art forms and humanities based subjects!

    • I'm not a huge jazz person but in the spirit of the forum I'll post my personal favorite song as well as my favorite jazz song.

Hacker-themes with lime/purple.

Mess around with Linux, play vidya, etc.

I'm Panzer. My original name, bruhfalo, was taken from a piece of dentistry equipment that looked like a buffalo's face, while I got the name Panzer from my love of mecha.

I found out about this place from Agora Road, a site currently getting ass fucked by bots. Probably only temporarily though.

If I had to pick a favorite visual aesthetic, I think it'd actually be film noir. Something about dirty, gritty, blackened city streets speaks to me, to my greatest fears. Also basically anything related to vaporwave.

I like playing video games, shooting guns, writing, driving, listening to music, tinkering with computers, surfing the net, and working out.

I know most of you, so we should get along fine.

Technically might not be real music but Grace Omega kicks ass.

    • To paraphrase the person above me, Agora Road getting fucked by bots.
  • What's your favorite aesthetic?
    • I don't have one. I usually just do this thing where I occasionally enjoy things, & then sometimes(!) those things will go together visually.
  • What do you do for fun?
    • Art but that's more a work thing. Camping, generally screwing around with electronics or code, playing Portal/Portal 2 right now.

    • I just made my username up one day when I wanted an identity separate from my meat space friends account.
    • my profile picture is the original image used as both artwork and textures in the hit dreamcast classic Sonic Adventure 1, as well as general advertising for the dream cast

    • it came to me in a dream
  • What's your favorite aesthetic?
    • I really like low-poly + photograph textures, depicting cities, beaches or jungles. Yuji Naka era dreamcast vibes. Sonic Adventure, PSO, etc.
  • What do you do for fun?
    • I strip the paint off little metal cars and repaint them worse. I enjoy the trials and tribulations of fatherhood and homeownership. I like discourse of any kind: friendly chats, hot debates, shameless trolling.
