Would you recognise a Virtual Paradise? by Suzanne Treister (1991/1992)

I'm quite partial to russian and soviet realism... probably due to my russiaboo-ness.

Ivan the Terrible and His Son on 16 November 1581 by Ilya Repin (1883-1885)

I also love this John Singer Sargent painting. It's in the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum and its looks so good since it's just at the end of this long dark room and the painting is huge.

El Jaleo by John Singer Sargent (1882)

It's got those chiaroscuro vibes which I'm always impressed by. The lighting kind of draws you in..

Chiaroscuro is so cool!! That painting technique was so revolutionary for it’s time!!

Speaking of which, have some Caravaggio!
